Between The Castle Walls was inspired by a trip to the ancient walled city of Carcassonne, France. I felt like I had lived there before, like I was home. The narrow stone openings chiselled into the fortress walls once served as lookouts- both for protection and a glimpse of the beautiful surroundings. This ring carries that memory: a textured sterling silver band with a bronze framed window and a single gemstone that reflects the light that continues to shine.
The cubic zirconia gemstone is set by tapping a small hammer on the metal surrounding the bezel. It pushes the metal over the stone holding it securely and permanently in place.
